- Fabulous carrier Review by Lindsey
-
I bought this at the baby show in Manchester last year in anticipation of my little one being born. I got a very good discount and was given a fantastic demonstration of how easy to use and how comfy this carrier is. It has been invaluable out and about and even at home for jobs I need 2 hands for like hanging washing out and making tea. So comfy, very easy to put on and get baby in and out of, and she feels so safe and secure in it. (Posted on 03/05/2013)Product - Fabulous carrier Review by Kitty

This carrier looks great, is so comfy to wear and use and is very practical. Have used it out and about and also just round the house so I can get jobs done that are too difficult for one hand, like hanging washing out or making tea!!Product
My little one is very cosy in this and loves the forward facing position, she actually cried when I took her out of it!! (Posted on 03/05/2013) - Excellent product Review by Amy B

I have a newborn baby aged just under 2 weeks and have used this already. It was very easy to position baby in and comfortable to wear. Most importantly I felt that baby was very secure and comfortable. We will be using this a lot. Ideal for those times when a pram is just not practical. Very comfortable to wear and carry, very satisfied with the purchase as we were looking for smth not so expensive but at the same time decent quality and reliable brand. After positive product reviews and great video demonstration somewhere in the west end Mall, we decided to go ahead with purchase as we got the discount as a member (25% bounty ), so it was pretty good savings. Really like the baby carrier. I'm happy with the fabric, build quality and how it fits. (Posted on 12/09/2012)Product - A user-friendly carrier that’s a good mid-price choice Review by Mumstreet

There are a number of similar baby carriers on the market which offer a similar front- or back-facing harness design. Generally, baby will snuggle into the parent’s body while still young (or sleepy), and when he or she gets more interested in the world and is able to hold up his head (usually around four months), he can then face outwards.Product
The main difference that this carrier offers is a soft cotton blanket that comes stored in the front pocket of the carrier and can be hooked onto the harness to give your baby some extra coverage if it’s cold (hence the ‘Snuggle’ name). It’s a nice addition.
I’ve tried a range of baby carriers and this is the simplest to use, thanks to the clear instructions. As with all, you need a certain amount of confidence handling your newborn to manoeuvre him into and out of the harness. However, the carrier is soft yet sturdy, with the fasteners suitable for one-handed tightening or closing, so you should be able to support your baby sufficiently.
This mid-price carrier lacks some of the extra fitting or support functions of more expensive versions, but is still comfortable to wear and simple to use. (Posted on 11/09/2012) - Safe, sturdy and secure product which looks good too! Review by Emmie

A fabulous product which certainly has a high quality feel about it. The padding is nice and thick and the straps are very comfortable, as well as being simple and easy to adjust. It is also very safe, sturdy and secure for my baby, even with no hands, making me have total confidence in Mabyland Trek Carrier. This was a great plus point for me, having tried several other sling/material carriers and being greatly disappointed by them. This, on the other hand, gives me total assurance that my baby is going to be OK whilst it is in use, with the added benefit of a sleek good look too.Product
A further idea which I also loved was the 'add on' or wrap around blanket. It fits so snugly over the carrier and is a lovely and warm fabric with a wonderful 'baby soft' touch feel.
As for the price of the carrier, I felt that it was very fair considering the quality product which I received. It certainly wasn't overpriced at all.
Overall, I am very impressed and I have already recommended it to my friends. Mabyland is now on my website 'favourites'. (Posted on 10/09/2012) - Great quality, and very easy to use Review by canotts

Great quality, and very easy to use, after looking at what else is on the market this was by far the best option & a very good price, also seems very secure & comfortable on shoulders. Also love the added extra of the blanket which should come in really handy for our winter baby !! Very speedy delivery & great service. Many Thanks :) (Posted on 07/08/2012)Product - the fact that it came with a blanket that straight away sold it to me Review by Kara

We had tried Baby Wearing with Addison when she was much smaller and she did seem to enjoy it, since getting older she has become increasingly nosey and wants to see the outside world which she can just not do so well always in a pushchair so I was over the moon when I got sent the Baby Carrier.Product
I must say it was the fact that it came with a blanket that straight away sold it to me, now Addison is on the top end of the weight scale so I was unsure how well the carrier would work for us, but I am pleased to say we used it for over 2 hrs around The Baby Show last week and she was happy as larry. I did not experience much back pain at all and found it so much nicer than to just carry her which is what I normally end up doing. She seemed comfortable in the carrier, she could kick and jump around but safely. I struggled a little getting her in on my own and had to have hubby's assistance but I think this is more due to Addison being so into everything around her and me not having much practise.
We then went on to use around Ikea, which was quite chilly, so i nipped out the blanket from its handy front pocket and it worked a treat, I love the fact this has a blanket, I haven't seen another model that does and to me living in England this is a big pro.
I can honestly say the MaByLand Carrier shall be staying in the cupboard once Addison can no longer fit in it so I can use it with the next baby when it comes along, I can't wait to put it to the test as it has extra support so it can be used facing parent from Newborn. I only wish I had had this when Addison had been born as she was only ever happy against Mummy and this would have saved some arm ache and given me hands and time to perform everyday tasks. Looked sturdy and comfortable and suitable for a man to use due to colour and style. High quality material and padding looked and felt like a luxury product. Would need re-adjusting when Chloe was in. This carrier is very straight forward to put on. Yes and No to ease of loading my baby into this carrier. I struggle with my shoulders and lifting so as Chloe got older and bigger I found it harder to put her in and had to get assistance. Yes I fell my baby is very secure in this carrier. I rate it much higher than other carriers in that area, didn't feel like I had to constantly hold on to her as well. This carrier is comfortable to wear and although as she got bigger I have struggled to carry her far my partner has walked for miles with her in it with no problems. I can pretty much carry on with my normal routine using this carrier but I did find bending down difficult. My baby loves being in this carrier. The blanket is a fab idea and I used that loads and found it very useful. I would recommend it. YES defo continue to use this carrier, although I think my partner will use it more when we go out as Chloe gets bigger as I am struggling to carry her far. It's been a while since I have used a carrier as my next child is 10 years old. I was very impressed with how sturdy and comfortable the product looked and felt. The quality is also excellent and for the money excellent value. For me it does have the same old issues that all carriers have which is that of getting baby in and out easily and being able to use it past 3 months ... but then I am very petite and find lifting difficult. However in saying that I felt once in she was very safe. Generally a very good product (Posted on 10/02/2012)Product
