I was very impressed, the packaging was very colourful and showed the product very well, there was also a hole cut in the front allowing you to ‘try me’ and feel/squeak one of the toys. On the outside of the box there were descriptions of how the product helps the baby’s development – Touch, Bright Colours and Sound Effects. The product features a soft ‘bar’ from which 3 toys hand down, in the version I tried there was a dog which had a crinkly sound, a ball in the middle on elastic which rattled, and a cat which squeaked, both the dog and cat were attached with Velcro allowing them to be removed and played with individually. The bar had 2 Velcro fastenings to allow it to be attached to a cot or pram, or in my case a car seat. The bar was soft and flexible and the whole toy was covered in a soft fabric. The cost of the product is £13.99 which is a reasonable price for the product and similar to other products.

My son was sitting on my knee as I took the toy out of the box and he couldn’t wait to get his hands on it, the colours are bright and immediately caught his attention. I liked that I could remove the cat and dog and allow him to sit and play with them individually without having to be in a pram/cot. I attached the toy to his car seat and he loves playing with it, it really holds his attention during car journeys. He likes the fact that he can pull the toys off so he can put them in his mouth, and the ball because it is on elastic amuses him when he pulls it and lets go – I like the rattle sound made by the ball too! The toy really is unisex as it incorporates blue, pink, green, white and yellow, and it is a definite winner with my little boy.

The only downside for me is that I cannot figure out how you would attach it to a pram, unless you attached it to the hood somehow, this is a little disappointing as it is sold as a pram toy. But certainly it is suitable for using on the handle of a car seat.

All in all I think this is a really great toy, it is washable, aids development and my little boy has not lost interest in it. (Posted on 06/06/2011)
