With my 1st child I never used a Baby Carrier, I now know what I was missing!! I find it so much easier when out and about. My eldest son is now 2 and my baby is 3 months so I need free hands a lot of the time and before I was using the MaByLand Trek Carrier I was constantly pushing around a heavy double pushchair, Now my eldest can go in his light stroller or even walk where we go rather than being stuck in a pushchair!!
The baby carrier itself is so soft and padded and comes in 3 colours (Black & Red, Black & Beige) the baby carrier is suitable from birth to 9kg approx (Baby must weigh between 3.5 kg (8lb)–9 kg (20lb))
It also has to carrying positions inward facing or outward facing. The carrier is very supportive, lightweight and comfortable to wear. It also has a handy little pocket on the front of the carrier.
The instructions are simple and easy to follow with pictures to look at as well makes it easier if you’re putting it on for the first time by yourself. My little one fell asleep as soon as we went out for the first time so he must of been very cosy! The carrier was easy to put baby in and out and also to take back off again even when I was on my own.
The RRP of the baby carrier is £49.99 which is great value for an amazingly made, high quality baby carrier. I would highly recommend to anyone who was thinking about getting a baby carrier.

Why is it that all baby products are on the first floor in shops and the lifts are always not easily accesible in a pram? I've used the MaByLand baby carrier a great deal - and still do. My baby is now 4 months. It's so much easier to use than the pram in terms of getting around. (I can count the amount of times I've used my pram on one hand as I always use the carrier). My baby initially faced backwards and quickly fell asleep as soon as we left the house, but now he faces forwards and looks out to see 'the World'. He loves it because he's also nearer to adult eye level and can smile at everyone. It's a good purchase. My baby is on the small side, but I guess once he gets a bit bigger it may get a bit sore on the shoulders so I would recommend buying this when your baby is newborn so you can get most use out of it. Carriers are great when you've a toddler and a new born so it's not necessary to have a bigger bulkier pram too. (Posted on 22/03/2011)

We have had loads of use from this carrier, it is now our first choice sling ( we also have a Baby Bjorn carrier and a material pouch what goes over one shoulder)

The MaByLand Trek Baby Carrier has been with us to London Zoo, London Aquarium and out and about at the shops when we have taken Ellie in the sling and Caitlyn in the push chair.

My favourite features of the carrier are

1- It is so comfortable to wear
2- The high front part keeps Ellie snug.
3- Very easy to put on.

The padded straps and the way that the straps sit on your back are the reason for the added comfort, I wore the carrier for a good 6 hours before I even found it starting to become uncomfortable, which is amazing as because I have big boobs all the other slings I have tried sit badly on my back making my shoulders really hurt.

Ellie was snug all the time as the high front kept her head supported and it must be comfortable because as soon as I put her in it she always falls asleep.

I find putting Ellie in and out very easy as you have to put it on over you head so you aren’t messing about making sure the straps aren’t twisted, it is also really easy to get Ellie in and out and can do it by myself so don’t need someone to hold the carrier while I get Ellie out.

I would recommend this carrier to everyone especially those who have given up on carriers because of comfort. (Posted on 20/03/2011)
