A well padded and comfortable looking carrier. The fabric is excellent quality and very well padded and the straps can be adjusted easily and smoothly. After following the instructions the first time it is very easy to put the carrier on and adjust it to a comfortable fit. The carrier was very comfortable to wear. Amelie is a very tiny baby so it’s not heavy at all for me. The carrier is comfortable enough to carry on with your routine and is not too bulky to get in the way or complicate things. Amelie prefers being in the sling to the pushchair, she falls asleep within a couple of minutes of being in it. Although Amelie is not old enough to use the forward facing feature yet I can’t wait to use it when she is. I think this carrier is worth every penny, it is so easy to use and I will continue to use it without a doubt. My friend who has a baby the same age as Amelie has already bought one on my recommendation! This baby carrier is really comfortable to wear and looks comfortable for the baby. It takes less than a minute to put it on and get your baby in position. It is made from top quality fabric and looks really hard wearing so once brought will last for years to come. When I had my first child I bought a cheap baby carrier thinking they were all the same, but only used it a couple of times as it just wasn’t comfortable and would hurt my back when using it. So when I had my twins I was reluctant to buy another one, particularly as I didnt think I would use one very often. However, getting 3 young children to pre school for 9am has been proving diffucult as my toddler walks at a snails pace. I was debating whether to get a buggy board or a baby carrier so when the MaByLand Trek Baby Carrier came up for review I jumped at the chance.

The carrier I received is beige but the product also comes in black and black&red. It looks very stylish and has a handy pocket at the front which would be ideal for holding a dummy or some tissues for example. The box has lots of information on including cleaning instructions, warnings and the basic information you need to know such as the age suitability for the carrier and what comes with the carrier.

When I took the carrier out of the box I could immediately feel how soft and padded it was. I looked at the instruction manual first which felt and looked quite weighty, but it is because it is in several languages. At first glance the instructions for use looked quite complicated, but once I started to look at them properly it became simpler. There are pictures to guide you as well as written instructions. Following the guide I was able to put the carrier on myself relatively quickly and easily. I then put one of the twins in the carrier, again easily. She seemed to be quite comfy and felt safe. We went for a walk to our local shop, about a 10 minute walk. She was very happy the whole time and enjoyed being able to look round as she was forward facing. For me the carrier was very comfortable, the shoulder straps are very well padded and felt secure. I was able to walk to the shop, buy a couple of bits, and walk home with no discomfort or back pain. Getting baby out of the carrier was easy, as was removing the carrier, and I am confident that I will be able to use this while pushing my double pushchair with my other twin and toddler in.

At £49.99 the carrier is quite expensive, but I felt it was worth the price due to the comfort, ease of use and the look of the product. I would happily reccommend this carrier to friends and other parents/parents to be. (Posted on 20/03/2011)
