The Baby Show at the Birmingham NEC!

We had an absolutely brilliant time at the Baby Show in Birmingham last Friday – Sunday.  Although the show was quite quiet in general on the Friday, it CERTAINLY picked up on the weekend, we were totally rushed off our feet!  We’d like to say thank you to everyone who came to our stand, and a HUGE thanks to all the parents who waited patiently to be talked through our products and be given a full demonstration, we understand it was busy!!

I now know that if you want to have a leisurely browse at these types of shows and maybe have a bit of chat with the people at their stands, go on the Friday when it is nice and quiet, and vendors will have plenty of time for you, BUT if you are primarily there for the BARGINS then definitely go to a show on the Sunday, but expect it to be incredibly busy!

This was our very first show at the NEC, and it was great to be able to reach out to even more parents, and let everyone know who we are, and what we are about!  We met lots of bumps, first time mums and dads, as well as those on their 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th and even 5^th!! baby! Amazing!  We also met and saw lots of twins which was just fantastic!  

We met lots of parents who had received one of our free rattles from our Prima Baby Magazine Offer, we are so glad that your baby’s loved them!  Don’t worry if you missed out because we will be doing more similar offers like that in the future, so look out for us!

We had such a successful show, and all our products were really well received.  We had mountains of positive feedback from lots of parents especially on our baby carriers which were once again our top seller and snapped up fast, we hardly took anything back to London with us! We learnt from the London ExCeL Show in February that we must bring our camera, because we had lots of parents walking away with their little ones in our carriers! So this time we remembered, and we were able to take a few snaps of some of you, we will post them on our blog as well as on our Facebook Page, so look out of those!  

We hope that everyone who signed up to become a MaByLand VIP enjoyed their free Bib Set, and if you didn’t get one this time we will be at the Earl’s Court Baby Show in October, so look out for us then!
